By day, I seamlessly navigate the world of marketing and consulting, donning the disguise of a professional. However, come nightfall, I reveal my true colors as a self-proclaimed villain, weaving intricate plot twists for my protagonists to navigate and escape.
With a decade of storytelling mastery, I've navigated the intricate realms of freelance writing, leaving my literary footprint on the pages of local and online magazines. I'm an avid participant of Manuscript Academy and a Writing With the Soul alumni. I’ve had work featured in the Calgary Poet Laureate online exhibition, Portraits of People, and various print and online publications.
Writing
In 2014, I embarked on a self-publishing journey with the release of my first two novels, Deviations and Creations. The journey taught me a lot about the industry and the kind of writer I'd like to be.
Since then, I've penned two more novels and am currently in the process of querying my fourth. Drawing on my accumulated years of experience, I've channeled my insights into the creation of the Gladius Journal.
My current WIP: A a gladiator enters a 7-day tournament seeking retribution against the emperor who executed her family, but the revenge she craves unravels dark family secrets and her elemental heritage, forcing her to choose between family loyalty and the fate of the Empire.

I was assigned to schedule a meeting with the CEO/Owner of the brand espy, and have a detailed meeting regarding how Megan Szanik opened and operated her brand during COVID. Through this meeting, I was able to extract the appropriate content needed for a well-round article about the brand.

For the Shop Local article I was directed to look into the way the Pandemic has shifted local shops into preserving through COVID. I spoke to several owners and consumers in regards to what they look for when shopping. Through the article, I was able to extract the appropriate information to support the title and help push local shoppers to shop locally.

It's evident that COVID has shifted a lot of locally own businesses into a new way of thinking. I was assigned to meet with the owners of Dinadi and discuss with them how they were able to stay afloat during the pandemic. I was able to extract the appropriate amount of information to write an article that shows the perseverance of a small brand flourishing.

I was hired to create an ice cream cone from scratch. I created a recipe from scratch. Once made I staged the product to be photographed and delivered web-ready content.
